It is a new Year. Many things have happened since that doomed October day coming back from New Hampshire in 2009. As I look at the sun setting in this first day of the year, I see all the old feelings going away. December 2010 was my deadline to get over the old and start anew. It is time for me to start making a new life, changing my perspective, fixing the broken relationships I allowed to happen, and cherishing the ones that are truly important to me, it is time to make a new, meaningful and fulfilling life.
A post on www.tinybuddha.com express in a very good way the works I am looking for. “lIt’s funny how on some days there seem to be more signs that life is good–people looking out for each other, positive intentions yielding positive results, nature revealing small pieces of beauty. The truth is that there’s always something good out there. It’s just that sometimes we are not in the right head space to notice and fully appreciate it.
The question is not whether the world is a wonderful place; it is whether or not we will take the time to experience it with a sense of wonder.
Whatever you are doing today, whether you are at work, at home, with people, or alone, make it a point to count the good things” I will add that we must learn how to celebrate the people who dared to love you, in spite of yourself and all ignore your efforts to push them away. Take 5 minutes, only five minutes and focus, concentrate in all the good things in life that are here, only for you.
Block the thoughts that will come about problems, things to be done etc. Just think, without fear, of all the gifts life has given you and the ones that are still waiting for you. Today is a perfect day to notice all the things to love about life.
