“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” -Albert Einstein
Most of the problems we encounter in life comes from our decision to label things as ‘problems’. It’s the type of thinking that keeps us stuck, feeling victimized and out of control. Blaming other’s actions, for the chances and opportunities we didn’t have… or on the education, money or the loving family we never had or that we didn’t cherish enough and lost along the way.
The alternative is to realize that, even the most challenging situation contains within it the seed of great possibilities. If we choose to see things from a different angle, the world can literally change its shape.
The people who come to hurt us become people who are hurting, and sometimes they become the people we can help healing. The shortcomings can become a source of power, the lack of education and loving family can be the driving force that push us to reach a better life for us and our loved ones. The struggles that appeared insurmountable, works as reminders that we are stronger than we think and we can consciously create our better and more successful lives than it has been, regardless of where we came from.
The most universal problem in life is our need to bury the reality we don’t like. To look into the mirror and realize that the person staring back, is not what we though we would be – that is not an easy realization – however, blaming everyone around for our failures and for the changes, choices and steps we never made or took, is not the remedy either.
Only facing the true ‘problem’, the real reasons of our failures face to face, only taking responsibilities for our own actions and inactions, only walking that first step towards a better life, only believing we can change the world around us, starting within ourselves, we can finally create new horizons, better and greater possibilities, reach real success and then, make a better and happier life.
Let’s start to change the way we label things as ‘problems’, let’s start working harder on creating SOLUTIONS. Let’s improve our lives and our tomorrow, today!
